who we are
We started in 2008 as a family-owned and operated flight school geared towards personalized training tailored to fit the individual student, and we have maintained that family-oriented sensibility. We have always taken a professional approach towards training while maintaining an informal atmosphere at our facility.
We pride ourselves on our ability to meet the needs and schedules of most students, even through our continued growth as a school.
We are always in the process of acquiring more aircraft in order to better serve the needs and desires of our students and clientele, our fleet includes complex, high performance, and multi-engine aircraft.
Throughout our growth, we have strived to continue to maintain a neighborhood atmosphere by hosting a monthly cookout, FAA Safety Meetings for the local pilots (and student pilots) population, our Customer Appreciation Nights (monthly cookouts for any and all aviation enthusiasts), and the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), an Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. We also have hosted such events as the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals Aviation Career Education Day and even aviation-themed birthday parties, Private and Public School Programs, and Women in Aviation.
Texas Flight has been operating as a 14CFR Part 61 school for years, and we are proud of the professionals we have working with us to make this happen.
We look forward to training the coming generations of pilots as the aviation industry continues to flourish and grow on a world-wide scale.
